indore-actress-accuses-liquor-businessman-of-illegal-land-encroachment:raymon-says,-‘they-demanded-6,000-sq-ft-land,-we-refused,-yet-pillars-were-erected’

We are folding our hands and requesting that we don’t want to give our land on rent, but despite this, the other party is occupying our land. This was surprising for me. This is the statement of TV actress Raymon Kakkar, a resident of Indore. She has accused liquor businessman and cricket team owner Suraj Rajak of occupying her land worth ₹300 crores. On the night of April 3, she filed an FIR against Suraj in Indore. Raymon told Dainik Bhaskar that she never saw anything like what she saw in Indore, even in Mumbai. Suraj Rajak was contacted regarding the allegations, but he did not respond. Raymon Kakkar has worked in serials like Ye Teri Galiyan, Apna Time Aayega and Rab Se Hai Dua. She has shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan and Sridevi. About 6.84 acres of land at Dewas Naka Raymon Kakkar said that she has 6.84 acres of land at Dewas Naka. Out of this, one and a quarter acres of land have been given to Indore Development Authority (IDA) for development. Suraj called my husband and brother and asked for 6 thousand square feet of land on rent for a liquor shop. But they refused. After that, he came to my house to meet my mother and asked to rent the land. Mother also refused. This land is in the name of my mother, both my brothers and me. Actress’s father bought the land in 1964 Raymon Kakkar said that on April 3, she came to Indore from Mumbai. In the afternoon, she learned that the land was being encroached upon. She immediately reached there. Poles were being erected, and a shed was being constructed. During this time, the police helped. When she reached the Lasudiya police station, the police personnel said that the TI (Town Inspector) was not there, come after some time, and then the FIR will be written. Then the TI came and registered the FIR late at night. On Sunday, it was learned that Suraj Rajak had also submitted an application at the police station, which is false. This land was purchased by my father in 1964. Some part of it was given to the Indore Development Authority for development in 2010. Raymon said that IDA should also take cognizance and file FIR Raymon Kakkar said that the family had given land to IDA for free for development, which is worth more than ₹70 crores. No compensation was received in return. How can a liquor shop open on that land? Only a road should be built there. If someone worked there, they would have received an allotment letter from IDA. But how can commercial activity happen on land taken for a road? Our demand is that IDA should also take cognisance and file an FIR that its land is being encroached upon. Brother says, ‘We gave the land to IDA for road’ The actress’s brother, Randhir Saluja, says that Suraj has confessed to his crime by submitting an application at the police station. He has written in the application that he is constructing a wine shop on government land. Whereas we gave that land to IDA for road construction, which IDA cannot allot for commercial activity. Even if it does allot, IDA would first have to give this land to the Excise Department, after which the Excise Department can allot it for a wine shop. Land on main road, attempt to open shop This land is on the main road. Its price is ₹300 crore. Rajak recently took a liquor contract for ₹150 crores. The existing shop is at the back. Opening a shop on this land could increase sales. However, according to the rules, it is not possible to open a liquor shop here. In 2025, allegations of assault on a farmer and aerial firing were made against Suraj Rajak and his security personnel in the Kanadiya area. Police registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.
