Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has secured another major deal in Mumbai’s commercial real estate market. The actor has leased out three floors of commercial space in the ‘Signature’ building, located in Mumbai’s Andheri West area, for a period of five years. Under this agreement, Bachchan will receive a monthly rent of ₹33 lakh, bringing his total earnings over the five-year lease period to ₹21.88 crore. Property details According to property registration documents, the space has been leased to a nutrition brand named ‘TruNativ’. Area Parking: The company has leased a carpet area of approximately 8,428 square feet. The deal also includes nine dedicated car parking spaces in the building. Escalation Clause: The contract includes a 5% annual rent escalation clause, meaning the monthly rent will increase every year. Bachchan’s previous commercial deals in Mumbai This is not the first time the actor has leased out premium commercial space for high returns. In March 2024, Bachchan leased four office spaces in the Lotus Signature building to Warner Music India Private Limited. That deal, which was initiated in late 2023, earns him a monthly rental income of ₹17.30 lakh. The agreement also provided 12 parking spaces to the company. Expanding footprint: Bachchan’s ₹35-crore land purchase in Ayodhya Apart from his real estate investments in Mumbai, Amitabh Bachchan has been actively buying land in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. In March this year, he purchased 2.67 acres of land for ₹35 crore from the House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).
