The Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport, Indore, has slipped two positions in the latest Airport Service Quality (ASQ) rankings, moving from fourth to sixth place at the national level. The decline is reflected in the ASQ survey for the fourth quarter of 2025 (October–December), released by the Airport Council International (ACI). Marginal score drop, bigger ranking impact Indore Airport scored 4.90 out of 5 in the latest survey, compared to 4.93 in the previous quarter (July–September). Although the decrease is just 0.03 points, it resulted in a two-rank drop due to intense competition among top-performing airports. Asia-Pacific ranking also slips Indore’s performance also dipped in the Asia-Pacific region. Among 98 airports across 18 countries included in the survey, Indore fell from 63rd to 68th position. A total of 16 major Indian airports were part of this international assessment. Top Indian airports: National rankings According to the latest ASQ survey, the top-ranked airports in India are: Notably, Varanasi and Indore received the same overall score, but differences across specific parameters pushed Indore down to sixth place. About the ASQ survey The ASQ survey is based on direct passenger feedback and is conducted only at airports handling more than 18 lakh passengers annually. It is regarded as one of the most credible global benchmarks for measuring airport service quality. Despite the slip, Indore Airport continues to remain among India’s top-performing airports, with officials confident of a rebound in future surveys.
