Direct flight service from the capital Bhopal to Noida started on Wednesday. Upon the arrival of IndiGo’s first flight in Bhopal, it was welcomed at the airport with a traditional water cannon salute. On the first day, 41 passengers arrived in Bhopal from Noida, while 12 passengers travelled from Bhopal on this new flight. Passenger numbers remained low in the initial days, but the airline and airport management expect an increase in the coming time. Under the new service, IndiGo flight number 6E-7653 departs from Noida at 5:20 PM and arrives in Bhopal at 6:50 PM. On its return, 6E-7654 departs from Bhopal at 7:10 PM and arrives in Noida at 9:25 PM. The airline has deployed a 72-seater ATR aircraft on this route. The one-way fare is currently around 4,600 rupees. Benefit for those travelling to and from Delhi-NCR With the operation of Noida International Airport, passengers from Bhopal have gained a new and convenient option to reach Delhi-NCR. Passengers will also be able to easily take connecting flights to various cities in India and abroad after reaching Noida. This is especially expected to benefit business travellers and regular air travellers. Increased options on the Delhi route Now, passengers travelling from Bhopal to Delhi-NCR have another flight option available. Currently, two Air India and three IndiGo flights operate between Bhopal and Delhi. With the launch of the new direct service to Noida, passengers will get additional convenience in both time and travel.
