A 30-year-old man in Narsinghpur died by suicide by hanging, alleging harassment by his wife and in-laws. Before his death, he posted a video on social media claiming that his wife and her family told him, ‘Even if you die, we will not come.’ After the video surfaced, the case has taken a serious turn. The incident occurred in Khairi Naka village of Narsinghpur district. The deceased, Pramod Mehra (30), son of Patiram Mehra and a resident of the Kotwali police station area, worked as an electrician at Chavara Vidyapeeth School. Before ending his life, he posted a Facebook video alleging mental harassment by his wife and in-laws and appealing for justice. Pramod was married in 2020. After this, they refused to send his wife back. Pramod alleged that his in-laws told him that even if he died, his wife would not return.
