Voices of protest have intensified in the city over the alleged ban on tilak, rings, kada, bindi and sindoor in a factory. In this regard, the Hindu Utsav Samiti has announced a demonstration today. According to information issued by committee president Chandrashekhar Tiwari, workers will gather at the BDA Office. From there, they will proceed to the concerned factory, where they plan to apply tilak to employees and tie kalava. The committee stated that such restrictions violate rights linked to religious beliefs and will not be tolerated. The administration is yet to respond to the planned protest.
