Bageshwar Dham’s Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri severely reprimanded his volunteers and disciples in the court on Sunday. He said that major changes are needed in the management of the Dham. The behavior of many volunteers towards devotees is not appropriate. They push devotees. The language and behavior of some volunteers are very ‘deplorable’. Dhirendra Shastri said that many volunteers deal with devotees as if they are in a military setup. He quipped that the kettle is getting hotter than the tea (meaning subordinates are acting more important than the leader). Shastri said that many disciples are unable to learn simplicity from him. Their focus is not on service, but on Baba’s aura. They feel that there is a direct connection with the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers, hence the aura. The volunteers are concerned not with service, but with the guru’s aura. ‘Volunteers became for wealth and womanizing’
During the Darbar, Shastri said that many people are connected to the Dham not with the spirit of service, but for other reasons. More than half of the volunteers became so because there is a lot of wealth here. Some boys became disciples here for the sake of chasing women. Due to Balaji in the Dham, children (boys and girls) are drawn here. ‘We expose others, we will expose you too’
Shastri warned his disciples, saying that he knows everyone’s truth. He said that the truth of those who are using his name can also come out. The situation of the disciples has become strange. They haven’t even met us and have become volunteers. More than half of the volunteers have become so in my name. If we expose others, then we will expose you too. At the end of the Darbar, Shastri also presented his thoughts on success. He said that the name of the Dham being known worldwide or big leaders coming here is not success. According to him, true success is when a person’s life passes without any blemish and they can remain spotless.
