The Karni Sena family’s public revolution movement, demanding 21-point issues, continued for 11 hours on Sunday at Nehru Stadium in Harda. Over 20,000 workers and supporters participated, making it the largest movement the district has seen so far. At 8 PM, National President Jivan Singh Sherpur announced the conclusion of the movement. He stated that instead of protests, the demands of all communities will now be raised in the Lok Sabha and Assembly through a political party. Sherpur said that thousands of Karni Sena members supported the formation of the party today. He took a pledge from Karni Sena members that they would work to strengthen the party along the lines of the RSS. He ended his fast by drinking juice. Action against those responsible for Lathi-charge The district collector has ordered the removal of five police personnel accused in the lathi-charge that took place in Harda in July and directed a magistrate-led investigation. The investigation will be headed by SDM Seoni Malwa. Announcement of political party and election plans National President Mahipal Singh Makrana said that Karni Sena will now contest elections and will take the voice of the people to Parliament and the Assembly through its political party. Sherpur added that after forming the party, they will fight politically for their demands. If the demands are not met, they plan to march to Delhi after Bhopal. He clarified that the decision to form a political party was taken with the support of the entire organisation, and the party registration will be completed soon. Sherpur stated, “No one raises our issues in the House. Just as the RSS formed the BJP, every Karni Sena member will dedicate their body, mind, and resources to strengthen this party. We will not leave this struggle incomplete; we will take it to Delhi.” Key demands The demands include judicial inquiry, withdrawal of cases, reforms in reservation and recruitment processes, economic-based reservation, farmer issues, electricity bills and smart meters, education and employment, women’s safety, cow protection, and issues related to ex-servicemen and media personnel.
