Madhya Pradesh’s Governor Mangubhai Patel visited AIIMS Bhopal on Monday, acknowledging the institute’s remarkable contributions to healthcare, research, and medical education, the hospital authorities said. Upon arrival, the Governor was accorded a warm welcome by Dr Madhabananda Kar, Executive Director and CEO of the institute, and Sandesh Kumar Jain, the Deputy director of the hospital. Comprehensive hospital tour conducted Following the meeting, Governor Patel undertook a comprehensive tour of the hospital, visiting key facilities including the Outpatient Department (OPD), inpatient wards, and specialised medical units. He interacted with patients, doctors, nurses, and students, appreciating their commitment to service and learning. During the visit, the Governor also inspected departmental facilities and student amenities, ensuring they align with national healthcare standards. As part of the day’s activities, Patel planted saplings within the institute’s campus, underscoring the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices in institutional settings.
