pm-mitra-park-secures-₹20,000-crore-investment:preparations-begin-for-third-phase-land-allocation;-allotment-process-is-next

Work is progressing on the PM Mitra Park being developed at Bhainsola near Badnawar in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore division, with more than 1,100 acres of land already allocated to industries in the first two phases. As investor interest continues to grow, the MP Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has started preparations to allot land in the third phase of the textile park. The project, spread across around 2,156 acres and costing about ₹2,063 crore, has so far received investment proposals worth more than ₹20,000 crore. These investments are expected to generate over 46,000 jobs in the region. Once completed, the park is expected to make the Indore-Dhar region one of India’s major textile and garment manufacturing hubs. The project is being regularly reviewed by the Union Ministry of Textiles and the Madhya Pradesh government. Roads, water supply, drainage, civil works are underway The construction of necessary infrastructure for the operation of industries in the park is progressing rapidly. Internal roads, water supply, drainage, and other civil works are in their final stages. Along with this, Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Common Facility Centre, Testing Lab, Incubation Centre, and Plug and Play Sheds are also being developed. The work for external electrical infrastructure for the park has been completed. The electricity distribution license has also been obtained, which will enable regular power supply to the industries established here. Region to connect with the supply chain of big brands Along with PM Mitra Park, garment units like Arvind Group, OFB Tech, Nysaa, and Jhil are also expanding in the Indore region. The garments produced in these units are planned to be supplied to national and international brands like HA, Zara, Arrow, and US Polo. This could make the Indore-Dhar region an important part of the global textile supply chain. Benefits from expressway connectivity PM Mitra Park has been connected to the National Highway and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via a four-lane road. Due to better connectivity, this region is also considered important for logistics and exports. Recently, a Taiwanese industry delegation also assessed investment opportunities here. The government is trying to ensure that the remaining work here is completed as soon as possible.
