A 16-year-old Class 12 student was stabbed to death after a minor dispute near Raja Ki Chakki on Malpur Road in Guna. According to the police, the incident took place on Monday night when Mohit, a student of Excellence School, went for a bike ride with his friends Balram Jatav and Shivjeet Sharma on Shivjeet’s motorcycle. At around 9 PM, they stop near Raja Ki Chakki, where Mohit revs the bike’s accelerator loudly. Ramjilal Rajak, a neighbour who arrives in his taxi, objects to the loud noise and the way the bike is parked, leading to an argument. Attacked with a knife after verbal abuse According to the complaint, when Mohit refused to leave, Ramjilal started verbally abusing him. As the dispute escalated, Vikas arrived to intervene. It is alleged that Ramjilal brought a sharp knife from the taxi and attacked Mohit’s chest and stomach. The injured Mohit fell on the road, and the accused fled. Friends took him to the hospital, doctors declared him dead After the incident, Vikas Rajak, Shivjeet Sharma, Balram Jatav, and Gaurya Sharma from the neighbourhood took the injured Mohit to the district hospital. Doctors declared him dead after examination. Relatives insisted on taking him to Bhopal As soon as the news of Mohit’s death was received, his family members reached the hospital. Despite doctors declaring him dead, they insisted on taking him to Bhopal for treatment. After persuasion from the police and doctors, the family agreed to the post-mortem. The atmosphere in the hospital was somber, and the family members were inconsolable, weeping bitterly. Mohit’s dream was to become a police officer Vikas Rajak, the elder brother of the deceased, said that Mohit’s dream was to become a police officer. Just a day before, they had bought new books for him, but the very next day, he was murdered. In-charge CSP Anand Rai stated that initial investigation revealed an argument between Mohit Rajak and Ramjilal Rajak over a minor issue. During the dispute, the accused attacked with a sharp knife, leading to Mohit’s death. Police have registered a murder case and started searching for the accused.
