Bhopal Commissioner Sanjeev Singh has been made Secretary in the Sports Department, while Karmveer Sharma will be the new Divisional Commissioner of Bhopal. Deepak Singh has been appointed Commissioner-cum-Registrar of Cooperative Societies. Amit Tomar has been given charge as Managing Director of the Energy Development Corporation along with the additional responsibility of Commissioner, New and Renewable Energy. Satendra Singh has been appointed Commissioner for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare and has also been entrusted with the additional charge of Commissioner, Scheduled Caste Development, and the State Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation. New responsibilities in health, education and tribal affairs Several key appointments have also been made in the Health, Education and Tribal Affairs departments. Manoj Pushp has been appointed Director of Public Health and Family Welfare and Controller of Food and Drug Administration. Rohit Singh has been named Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation and given additional responsibility in the School Education Department. Amar Bahadur Singh has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Tribal Affairs Department, while Bharti Jatav Ogra has been appointed Additional Secretary in the School Education Department. Additional charges assigned to senior officers The government has assigned additional responsibilities to several senior officers as part of the administrative reshuffle. K.C. Gupta has been given the additional charge of Agriculture Production Commissioner. Aniruddha Mukherjee has been entrusted with additional responsibilities in the Environment Department, including the posts of Environment Commissioner and Director General of EPCO. Gulshan Bamra has been given additional charge of the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, while Sonia Meena will additionally serve as Commissioner-cum-Director of Institutional Finance.
