At the Collector’s auditorium located in the Emperor Vikramaditya Administrative Complex on Friday, Divisional Commissioner Ashish Singh discussed preparations for Simhastha 2028 with Director General of Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geoinformatics, TP Singh. The meeting deliberated on providing technical support through the PM Gati Shakti Platform and Geographical Spatial technology. A plan will be prepared to provide complete information about the Simhastha fair on a single platform with data through API during the Simhastha Kumbh. Through this, information about routes of trains, buses, and small vehicles, along with traffic control in an area of approximately 250 kilometers, will be easily available. During the Simhastha Mahaparv, facilities for parking, ghats, access routes to the fair area, essential information, and communication will also be provided. Divisional Commissioner cum Simhastha Mela Officer Ashish Singh reviewed various schemes being implemented under Simhastha 2028 and provided information about ongoing projects in a meeting organized for global management and planning of Simhastha Mela 2028. The Divisional Commissioner, while taking information about the preparations for Simhastha 2028, directed the concerned officers to coordinate with the institution and prepare a complete plan. For Simhastha 2028, a technical presentation was given by the Google Cloud team through video conferencing before Divisional Commissioner cum Simhastha Mela Officer Ashish Singh regarding AI-based technology and geo-mapping arrangements. A decision has been taken to conduct the fair through modern technology for effective management of the huge number of devotees during the Simhastha Mahakumbh, crowd control, traffic management, information dissemination, and various administrative arrangements.
