Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) will be celebrated tomorrow in Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board has issued special guidelines regarding namaz and qurbani. The board has appealed to the Muslim community not to offer Eid prayers on roads or public places. Prayers should only be offered in mosques and Eidgahs. The police administration is on alert mode. Additional police forces have been deployed around mosques, Eidgahs, and dargahs. In Bhopal, more than 200 police personnel will be stationed in different areas to ensure the festival is conducted peacefully. Celebrate Eid Following Administrative Rules The Waqf Board has issued instructions to mosques, Eidgahs, dargahs, and Waqf committees across the state. The board said – the festival should be celebrated with peace, harmony, and compliance with administrative rules. If there is a possibility of large crowds in any area, local administration should be informed so that arrangements can be made in a better manner. Do not post VIDEOS of sacrifice on social media The Waqf Board has also issued guidelines regarding sacrifice. The directive states that sacrifice should only be performed at designated places. Also, avoid making photos and videos of sacrifice and making them viral on social media. The board said that such videos can create unnecessary controversy and tension in society. Where and when will Eid prayers be held in Bhopal Eid prayers will be offered at 6:30 AM at Bhopal’s main Eidgah. Additionally, prayers will be held at Jama Masjid at 6:45 AM, Taj-ul-Masajid at 7 AM, Moti Masjid at 7:15 AM, and Arif Nagar at 7:30 AM. Meanwhile, prayers will be offered at 8:30 AM at Masjid Khwani located in MP Nagar. Prayer timings have also been fixed in the BHL area. Prayers will be held at 7 AM at Jama Masjid Piplani and Masjid Salami Gautam Nagar. Eid prayers will be offered at 7:30 AM at Masjid Barkheda and at 7:45 AM at Masjid Habibganj. Special arrangements for Qurbani and cleanliness In most places in Bhopal, arrangements have been made for Qurbani (sacrifice) at homes. The Municipal Corporation has made special preparations for the disposal of Qurbani waste. Corporation vehicles will reach all 85 wards of the city and waste collection will be done. For this, separate arrangements have been made at the Adampur garbage dump. Water shortage problem before Eid Just before Eid, water problems have also emerged in several areas of Bhopal. Water supply has been disrupted for the past two days in many places including Tila Jamalpura, Nariyalkheda, Karond and DIG Bungalow area. This problem occurred due to a faulty valve in the drinking water tank and pipeline cuts during Metro construction work. Social media will be monitored No separate public advisory has been issued by the police and administration so far, but in peace committee meetings, community members have been appealed to celebrate the festival peacefully. Police will also keep an eye on social media. Action will be taken as per rules for sharing objectionable posts or inflammatory content against any community. Appeal for eco-friendly Eid in Bhopal In Bhopal, Shri Hindu Utsav Samiti and Sanskriti Bachao Manch have also appealed to the Muslim community to celebrate an eco-friendly Eid. Committee President Chandrashekhar Tiwari said that the festival should be celebrated keeping environmental protection in mind. Special attention should be paid to cleanliness.
