3 innocent children died after being burnt alive in a fierce fire in a mud house in the Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. The fire engulfed the entire house within minutes. The children inside could not get out. Villagers reached the spot and started trying to extinguish the fire, but by then the children had already died. According to information, the deceased children have been identified as one-and-a-half-year-old Ridhi Saket, 6-year-old Dhummu alias Sandhya Saket, and another 3-year-old child. All were residents of Kashihawa village in Jamodi. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, around 1 pm. The spark fell on the bamboo and dry materials kept nearby, after which the fire spread rapidly. In no time, the entire mud house was engulfed in flames. At the time of the incident, the house was locked from outside, and all three children were inside. Upon receiving information, the Jamori police station in-charge, Divya Prakash Tripathi, reached the spot with the police force. After considerable effort with the help of villagers, the fire was brought under control, but by then all three children had died. Father had gone for labor work, mother had gone to get rations The children’s father, Ramratan Saket, said that he had gone to Sidhi city for labor work, while the children’s mother had gone to the shop to get rations.
