People were seen distributing sweets, dancing to music played on DJs and drums, and cheering loudly for Team India. Across many neighborhoods, fans had gathered earlier to watch the match together on large screens set up at city squares, cafés, dhabas and residential colonies. Women also joined in, adding to the festive atmosphere in Dhar Bagh. Indore: Rajwada sees massive celebrations In Indore, the historic Rajwada area witnessed massive celebrations. Cricket lovers danced to the beats of drums, while Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and MLA Golu Shukla joined the crowd. Vijayvargiya waved the tricolour from his car roof and danced along with the people, sharing the joy of India’s victory. Spiritual leaders praise Team India Dhirendra Krishna Shastri congratulated Team India, lauding the players’ hard work, strategy, and passion. He stated that “Panauti” is nothing ahead of passion,” while Bageshwar Maharaj called the victory a proud moment for the entire country. Fireworks and festivities across cities Cities including Bhopal, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, and Gwalior witnessed jubilant celebrations. In Chhindwara, youth danced to the sound of truck horns. In Bhopal, Mahakal Bhakta Mandal organised celebrations with drums, gulal, and fireworks, creating a Holi- and Diwali-like atmosphere.
