Assistant professor recruitment application deadline extended:Candidates can apply from May 10 to June 9; assistant town planner exam on September 20

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has extended the application deadline for the Assistant Professor recruitment. At the same time, MPPSC has issued an advertisement for recruitment to 39 posts of Assistant Town Planner, for which the examination will be held on September 20. Candidates can now submit online applications for the Assistant Professor posts from May 10 to June 9. Earlier, the application process was scheduled to run from February 27 to March 26. The extension is expected to benefit candidates appearing for the State Eligibility Test (SET), who may otherwise have been excluded due to the earlier deadline. According to sources, the SET results are likely to be declared in April. More recruitment advertisements by year-end MPPSC has also indicated that advertisements for more than 10 recruitment examinations will be issued by the end of 2026. These include posts such as Assistant District Prosecution Officer (ADPO), Assistant Registrar, Medical Expert, Dental Surgeon, Assistant Director (Agriculture), Scientific Officer, Food Safety Officer, and Medical Officer. Three-layer security system implemented in preliminary examinations
MPPSC has implemented a three-layer security system in the State Service Preliminary Examinations from April 26. UPSC has already been using this system. The tender process for this system was cancelled once before, and tenders were issued again later.
