BJP leader assaults woman and her family in Nagod:Snatches mobile; victim’s mother also party official

Satna’s Nagod BJP Mandal President Pulkit Tandon is in the spotlight again after a video surfaced showing him physically assaulting a woman and her family. The video depicts Tandon attacking the relatives of a 25-year-old woman who had gone to protect her daughter. This incident occurred around 10 PM on January 27. The victim runs a beauty parlour in Nagod and had a prior acquaintance with Tandon. Her mother is also an office-bearer in the local BJP Mandal. Lured to warehouse under pretext of meeting a bridal client According to the complaint, Tandon allegedly used his employee RK, also known as Rajkumar Namdev, to call the woman via mobile under the pretext of meeting a bridal client at a warehouse. The victim informed her mother, who went to the location. At the warehouse, Tandon was reportedly intoxicated, and there were no clients present. When her brothers arrived to intervene, one started recording the incident on a mobile phone. Tandon, seeing this, allegedly snatched the phone and threw it to the ground before physically attacking the mother and brothers. The victim and her family managed to escape and reached a hospital for treatment. They later filed a complaint at the police station the following afternoon. Medical reports could lead to additional charges. Victim’s mother also targeted The mother of the assaulted woman, who is a BJP Mandal office-bearer, was also seen being attacked in the video. This has been confirmed by BJP District General Secretary Ramakant Gautam. Following the release of the video, the party has issued a notice to Pulkit Tandon, directing him to appear before District President Bhagwati Pandey within a week to provide an explanation.
