A brutal murder of a young woman has come to light in Gwalior. The incident took place on Tuesday evening in Chhote Baba Ki Pahadiya, under Girwai police station. When 20-year-old Nisha Kushwah’s mother returned home from work, she found her daughter’s body soaked in blood. Nisha’s throat had been slit. Police found a blood-stained stick and a stone at the crime scene. It is suspected that she was first attacked with the stick or stone and then her throat was cut. Nisha was alone at home at the time. Her mother, Sunita Kushwah, works as a domestic helper, while her brother had left for work in the morning. Her sister-in-law had gone to the anganwadi in the afternoon to get her son vaccinated. After receiving information, Girwai police reached the house and called a forensic team. The police have sealed the crime scene and started investigating. The reason for the murder is not yet known. Nisha’s wedding was scheduled in two months.
