A case of assault on a devotee has surfaced at the Sanwaliya Seth temple in Mandafia. It is alleged that a guard of a private security company, Tiger Force, thrashed the devotee so badly that his nose started bleeding. According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday night when Priyanshu Malviya, a resident of Kukdeshwar in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh, was taking photos and videos in the temple corridor. An argument broke out with the security guard over this, which soon escalated into an assault. This is not the first time that security guards of the Tiger Force company have assaulted devotees. Earlier, on June 25 (on the day of Amavasya), guards of this company had also lathi-charged devotees. Guard, angered by taking photo, verbally abused Priyanshu Malviya said he was trying to take a photo of the temple premises by extending his hand through the mesh in the corridor when a Tiger Force security guard suddenly got agitated and began abusing him. When Priyanshu asked the guard to speak calmly, he was threatened. Devotees present said taking photos was not a crime, yet the guard reacted without reason. The situation worsened when Priyanshu started recording a video of the incident, following which the guard called his colleagues. It is alleged that Priyanshu was then taken away from the CCTV camera area and brutally beaten, leaving him bleeding from his nose and leg despite repeatedly pleading to stop. Devotee alleges assault, evidence erased Priyanshu alleged that during the assault, when blood from his nose fell on the floor, the security guards forced him to clean it with his handkerchief. He further claimed that photos and videos from his mobile phone were forcibly deleted. After the incident, an ambulance was called, and he was taken for treatment. Victim alleged, During this time, there was a commotion outside the temple office for a long time, but no responsible official tried to reach the spot and control the situation. Later, pressure was also put to compromise by making them sit in the temple office. Police refused to take complaint
Upon receiving information about the incident, Mandafia police station personnel reached the spot and calmed the matter. The devotee alleged that I gave a written complaint to the police, but the police refused to take the complaint. Mandafia Station Officer Gokul Dangi said, When the police arrived for investigation, the security guard was not there. His name has also not come forward.
