Four intoxicated doctors caused a disturbance in front of AIIMS Bhopal’s emergency gate. After parking their automobile here, the physicians were having a party with alcohol. When the cops showed up and began questioning them, one of the doctors began to abuse them. Having been here since 2016, the doctor remarked, “I know officers from ten police stations. Who are you?” The incident is reported to have occurred around 2 AM on Tuesday late at night. Two videos of the doctor misbehaving with the police have also surfaced. The video shows a beer bottle placed on the car’s roof. Two doctors are lying intoxicated in the car, with beer and snacks also scattered around. One doctor is seen arguing with a police officer. The video shows that the doctor tries to flee from the spot, but the policemen stop him. Police prepared a complete report of the incident and sent it to AIIMS Management. AIIMS administration received information about this matter on Wednesday morning, around 11 AM. Immediately after this, the management constituted an inquiry committee. According to the administration, it is currently being investigated whether the people seen in the video are actually associated with AIIMS or not. Further disciplinary action will be taken after their identification and department confirmation. A senior AIIMS official said that this is a serious matter related to the institute’s reputation.
