On Wednesday, the body of an accountant was discovered hanging inside his own house in Betul. His wrist had been slit, and a blood-filled container was recovered from the room. The police have launched an investigation into the incident. Details of the incident The incident occurred in Moti Ward on Chakkar Road. According to reports, the body of 58-year-old Pradeep, also known as Pappu Barange, was found hanging near the stairs on the first floor of the house. Family members said that Pradeep worked in accountancy. His wife is employed with an insurance company, while their daughter resides in Noida and their son works as a doctor at AIIMS. Blood-filled container raised suspicion A box filled with blood was found in the room, raising questions about the circumstances of his death. Sources indicate that Pradeep had been troubled by family disputes for some time. It is suspected that he first cut his wrist, causing blood to flow into the container. A surgical blade wrapper was also found on the bed. However, the family is questioning why there were no blood stains on the stairs leading to where he was found hanging if the wrist had indeed been slit. Investigation underway The police have taken down the body and sent it for postmortem examination. Kotwali police are currently investigating the matter to determine whether it was a case of suicide or if any foul play was involved. Family members are cooperating with authorities while raising questions about the unusual circumstances at the scene.
