Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program’s 135th episode was broadcast today. In this episode, the PM praised the efforts of women from Biaora town in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh for recycling plastic waste and beautifying the city. People want cleanliness, but rely on others The PM said, “We all want our village to be clean and our city to look beautiful, but have we ever thought about who cleans the garbage that accumulates around us? Most people believe that it is someone else’s responsibility and they will do the cleaning. But there are some people among us who inspire us greatly with their thinking.” PM said – Sisters enhanced the beauty of the city with pollution-causing plastic Prime Minister Narendra Modi said – I got an opportunity to learn about some sisters from Biaora in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. They resolved to remove the plastic waste spread around them. They did not think that someone else would come and bring change, but instead started collecting plastic waste and empty bottles from all over the city themselves. He said that gradually this effort progressed and then that plastic started being converted into eco-bricks. Today, these eco-bricks are being used to beautify public places. PM Modi said that in Rajgarh, hundreds of kilograms of plastic have been recycled and put to better use in the last few months. This means that the plastic that once caused pollution is now contributing to enhancing the beauty of the city through the efforts of these sisters. He congratulated all the sisters of Biaora and everyone associated with this campaign.
