According to information, the deceased have been identified as Mansi Dhanak (9) and Somnath Dhanak (22), a resident of Narmadapuram. Meanwhile, Halke Dhanak, a resident of Raisen, is seriously injured. He sustained serious injuries to his mouth, head, and abdomen. They had come to celebrate the birth of a child Police said – Narmada Prasad Dhanak’s younger son-in-law, Halke Dhanak, who is a resident of Raisen district, had a child born at his home a few days ago. There was an atmosphere of happiness in the family. To share this joy with relatives, Narmada Prasad’s daughter Mansi and elder son-in-law Somnath Dhanak had reached Khamaria village. On Sunday, the three had gone out to distribute ladoos at relatives’ homes. After distributing sweets at several places, they were returning by bike around 12:24 PM. Around 12:30 PM, the trio’s bike reached past Moonlight Garden on Mandi Road, Narsinghpur district headquarters. A speeding truck appeared as death on Mandi Road Meanwhile, a speeding truck (MP-09 HG-8327) coming from behind hit the bike with great force. The impact was so severe that the bike was thrown several feet away. All three riders were thrown onto the road. Before they could recover, the truck’s wheels ran over Mansi and Somnath. Body parts scattered on the road According to eyewitnesses, after the collision, innocent Mansi got stuck under the truck. She was dragged on the road for about 20 to 25 meters. Due to the continuous pressure of the wheels, some parts of her body stuck to the road. Lumps of flesh were scattered on the road. As soon as the accident was reported, the Stationganj police arrived at the scene within about ten minutes. But by then, Mansi had already died. Pieces of the body were scattered at different places on the road. Police officers collected the lumps of the body. A battle to save life was fought in the hospital, Somnath lost on the way Immediately after the accident, seriously injured Somnath Dhanak and Halke Dhanak were taken to the district hospital. After primary treatment, doctors referred Somnath to Jabalpur Medical College due to his extremely critical condition. Family members were taking him to Jabalpur by ambulance, but his condition worsened near Gotegaon. He died on the way before reaching the hospital. After this, his body was kept in the mortuary of the government hospital in Gotegaon. Injured Halke Dhanak is undergoing treatment at the district hospital Halke Dhanak, injured in the accident, is being treated at Narsinghpur District Hospital. A team of doctors is continuously monitoring him. Currently, the hospital administration is keeping an eye on his condition. Meanwhile, the police have seized the truck involved in the accident. Stationganj police have started investigating the matter. How the accident occurred, what was the speed of the truck, and what was the role of the driver, all these points are being investigated. The process of legal action against the driver has also been initiated.
