A flour mill owner in Bhind bit off a customer’s ear over a transaction dispute of ₹5. In the attack at the mill located in Khairiyator Mod under Mehgaon Police Station limits, a part of the ear of the customer, Dhan Singh Bhadoria, a resident of Mauroli village, was severed. The injured man lodged a complaint at the Mehgaon Police Station. In his complaint, Dhan Singh stated that he had given 37.5 kg of wheat for grinding at Pappu Ojha’s mill. On Friday evening, when he went to collect the flour, he was given back about 36 kg of flour. During this, an argument broke out between the two over the grinding charges. A heated argument ensued between the two over the ₹5 difference. The dispute escalated to a physical altercation. A part of the lower earlobe was severed Injured Dhan Singh stated that a part of the lower portion of his ear was severed. After the incident, people present there intervened and calmed the situation. Following this, the victim, in a bloodied state, reached the police station and demanded strict action against Pappu Ojha. Police says both parties are being interrogated Mehangaon Police has started investigation based on the victim’s complaint. Police are interrogating both parties. Mehangaon police station in-charge Mahesh Sharma said, “A case of a youth’s ear being cut has come to light. Statements of both parties are being recorded by the police. Further legal action will be taken based on the investigation.”
