DD Mall–Moti Masjid road to remain closed for 2 months:Elevated road work underway; diversion routes announced in Gwalior

Motorists travelling on the busy DD Mall–Moti Masjid Road in Gwalior have been advised to plan their journeys in advance. Due to ongoing elevated road construction, the stretch from DD Mall to Markandeshwar Mahadev Temple and from Moti Masjid to Gurudwara will remain closed to all types of vehicles for the next two months starting June 19, 2026. Traffic police said the restriction has been imposed to ensure the construction work is completed safely and within the scheduled timeframe. Alternative routes have also been designated to minimise inconvenience to commuters.
