mohan-yadav-mocks-jitu-patwari-as-‘tapori-lal’:congress-leader-says-cm-insulted-farmers’-sons

Shajapur district’s Shujalpur witnessed a sharp political exchange on Sunday as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav launched a strong attack on state Congress president Jitu Patwari. Responding to Patwari referring to him as “Mohan Lal Abhinandan Yadav”, the Chief Minister said, “Yes, I am Abhinandan Lal, but you are Tapori Lal.” The Chief Minister said a wave of development was sweeping across the state, but the Congress was opposing even that. Targeting Jitu Patwari, he said he had never seen a state Congress president under whose tenure the party’s candidate for the Indore Lok Sabha seat abandoned the election race. He added that Congress was struggling to find candidates. “The leader who could not even retain his own Assembly seat and lost by 40,000 votes is today the state Congress president,” he said. The Chief Minister claimed Congress was facing the consequences of its own actions and that its public support was continuously shrinking. Jitu Patwari said – You abused me Reacting to Mohan Yadav’s remarks, Jitu Patwari posted a response on social media. He said, “Chief Minister, you called me worthless, said I was worth two pennies and even abused me. Does that mean the son of a farmer is worthless and worth two pennies in your eyes? Even Atal ji lost elections. Do these words apply to him as well?” He further said, “Yes, I once again take a pledge. In 2028, the sons of farmers and the people of Madhya Pradesh will form a government completely free from corruption and commission. The people are watching everything, Chief Minister. And one more thing—arrogance never lasts forever.” Jitu had given the name ‘Abhinandan Lal’ Recently, during a youth dialogue programme in Satna, Jitu Patwari had asked the audience who knew Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and even got people to applaud for him. He then referred to the Chief Minister as “Mohan Lal Abhinandan Yadav” from the stage.
