₹73k collected from 30 vehicles in Bhind:RTO’s checking campaign; 5 vehicles caught without number plates

The Transport and Police departments conducted a joint operation and intensive checking against vehicles engaged in mineral transportation in Bhind district. During the action taken in the Barhi area on the Etawah-Bhind route, revenue of ₹73k was collected by taking action against vehicles violating the rules. District Transport Officer R.K. Soni informed that this joint action was taken under the directions of the Supreme Court and guidance of the Transport Commissioner, Collector Bhind, and Superintendent of Police Bhind. During the checking campaign, a total of 30 vehicles were inspected. Of these, five vehicles were found operating without number plates, and challans were issued against them. Meanwhile, one vehicle was found operating without a valid permit, and action was taken against it as per the rules.
