The Crime Branch has taken major action against the Lawrence Bishnoi gang by arresting Rahul Singh Rathore, alias Baba, a criminal with a bounty of ₹25k. A reward of ₹15k was announced by the STF, and ₹10k by the Crime Branch Indore for the accused. According to the police, Rahul Singh was a close associate of the gang’s main leader, Rajpal Chandawat. He was involved in threatening businessmen, providing weapons, and arranging boys for firing and reconnaissance. The Crime Branch had been receiving information for a long time that accused linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang were extorting money illegally by threatening businessmen and traders in the city. During the interrogation of previously arrested accused Rajpal Chandawat in this case, Rahul Singh’s name had come up. He used to help in money transactions After this, the Crime Branch team took action and arrested Rahul Singh Rathore from the village Bijana under the Industrial Area police station in Dewas district. During interrogation, it was revealed that he coordinated money transactions between gang members and provided them with technical and other necessary assistance. The police investigation also revealed that Rahul Singh arranged weapons for Rajpal Chandawat and sent young men for firing and reconnaissance. During the investigation, the accused’s criminal record has also come to light. A case has been registered against him under various sections of BNS at the Crime Branch police station in Indore. Currently, the police are continuously interrogating him. It is believed that many more important revelations related to the gang may emerge during the interrogation.
