Gulzar Colony resident Moeen Khan brought Sultan from Punjab about a year ago, covering a distance of 1,000 km in two days to reach Indore. Sultan is being given a daily diet of 2 liters of milk, 250 grams of dry fruits, and about 10 kg of leaves. Moeen Khan said that he has always had a passion for bringing heavy goats for sacrifice. He purchased Sultan for Rs 1.20 lakh. Many customers came to buy it in view of Eid. One even offered up to Rs 8 lakh for Sultan, but Moeen Khan refused to sell it. See, three pictures… Spotted goat of Punjabi Beetal breed Moin told that Sultan is of the Beetal breed from Punjab. It is a brown colored spotted goat. Its height from ground to neck is about 5 feet. Sultan drinks 2 liters of milk every morning. A cooler has been installed to protect from heat. He is always given only cold water to drink. Taking care of Sultan like a child Faizan Qureshi, who came from Indore’s Gulzar Colony to see the goat from Rau, said, “I had heard a lot of praise about Sultan. Moin Khan is working very hard to keep him healthy.
