Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Krishi Manthan-2026 program organised at Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University. On this occasion, he inaugurated the new administrative building constructed at a cost of 13 crore rupees, which has been named Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Administrative Building. Chief Minister Inaugurated Several Agriculture and Skill Development Projects The Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated several other projects. These include the administrative building of the Sugarcane Research Center constructed at Bohani at a cost of 1.11 crore rupees, the Skill Development Center built at Balaghat for 1 crore rupees, and the Automated Liquid Bio-fertilizer Production Center constructed at Jabalpur for 1.26 crore rupees. Additionally, four units of the Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department, costing 4.92 crore rupees, were also inaugurated. Presentation of More Than 100 Agricultural Innovation Projects An exhibition was organised under the Krishi Manthan program, in which more than 100 innovation-based projects related to the agricultural sector were presented. In this exhibition, many technical models such as the Krishi Sakhi Natural Farming Training Model, Natural Farming Model, Drone Hi-Tech Hub, Stubble Cutting Harvester Machine, and Drip Line Installer of Battery Operated Rich Planter were displayed. Student-created Plant Doctor Device The ‘Plant Doctor’ device developed by Aryan Chandra, a final year M.Tech student, was a special attraction at the exhibition. This is an AI-based model capable of identifying more than 10 crops and more than 45 plant diseases related to agriculture. This device not only identifies diseases but also provides treatment-related information and works in both real-time and offline modes. Process to prepare approximately 200 litres of organic fertiliser in 45 days Under the Input Resource Centre Project Director ATMA, farmer Anil Patel of Mohania village, Panagar development block, presented a bio-digest unit. In this model, the process of preparing approximately 200 litres of organic fertiliser in 45 days from kitchen waste, cow dung, cow urine, and other organic materials was demonstrated. Use of Drone Technology in Agriculture Sapna Kachhi of Jogidhana Gram Panchayat demonstrated drone technology under the Prime Minister’s Namo Drone Didi Scheme. She explained how medicine, fertilizer, and water can be sprayed at low cost using drones. CM Mohan Yadav Advised Congressmen to Abandon Rituals During a conversation with the media, Mohan Yadav told his Congress friends that they should abandon rituals and count their sins. During their time, there was neither irrigation area nor electricity in the fields, nor water in the fields. In the last 55 years, there was only 7.50 lakh hectares of area.
