An FIR has been registered against liquor businessman Suraj Rajak in Indore on charges of encroachment on land worth Rs 300 crore. Rajak is also the owner of the Malwa Stallions team, which is playing for the first time this year in the Madhya Pradesh League of the MP Cricket Association. A case was not registered initially on the complaint of actress Raymon Kakkar, but after a complaint to the Chief Secretary (CS), the case was registered late Friday night at Lasudia police station. According to Raymon Kakkar, approximately two hectares of land at Survey Number 414 located in Nipania is in the name of her mother Narendra Kaur Saluja, brothers Pushpendra and Randhir Saluja. The allegation is that Rajak attempted to forcibly encroach upon this land. Police have registered a case under Section 329(3) in this matter. First demanded land, attempted occupation after refusal According to the complaint, Rajak had first asked Raymon’s husband Rishi Kakkar for 6000 square feet of land on rent for a liquor shop. When the family refused, he contacted other members as well, but everyone declined to give the land. Despite this, when the family reached the spot on April 3, some people were found occupying the land. Police arrived on information and stopped the occupation. Land on main road, attempt to open shop It is being said that this land is located on the main road and its value is around 300 crore rupees. Rajak has recently taken a liquor contract for around Rs 150 crore. The existing shop is towards the back, while opening a shop on this land could increase sales. However, according to the rules, opening a liquor shop at this location is said to be not possible. Rajak has been in controversies before as well In the year 2025 also, allegations of assault and aerial firing on a farmer were made against Suraj Rajak and his security personnel in the Kanadiya area. In that case too, the police had registered a case and started investigation. Actress’s brother said, ‘Came to know only yesterday’ Raymon’s brother Randhir Saluja said that my land was taken by my father in 1964. We gave the land to IDA for road widening in 2010. Suraj Rajak was demanding our place, we had refused. We have given an application to the police before as well. Yesterday I came to Delhi, during this time my sister Raymon came to know that encroachment work was being done on the land, so she went to the police station and filed an FIR.
