The portal for new LPG connections in Madhya Pradesh is closed. Customers are not getting 14Kg cylinders. The problem has increased in Bhopal and Indore. For relief, the Food Department will now provide new 5Kg connections. Now, oil companies will send SMS to customers, which will contain booking confirmation and delivery date. The SMS will state that they should not go to the gas agency. The cylinder will be delivered to their home. This will prevent a panic situation. Customers in many cities are troubled due to the portal closure. People’s problems have increased in Indore. In Bhopal, amid gas shortage, people are applying for new connections, but due to the portal being closed, e-KYC and all new connection processes are suspended. Company will provide 5Kg connection now, which will be converted to 14Kg later It was said in the meeting that if 14Kg connections are not being given, then the company should give 5Kg ones. When the portal starts, they will be converted to 14Kg. Orders may be issued soon. Most problems with Indane company There is the most difficulty regarding Indane company cylinders in the state. Its new connections are not available. Consumers wanting to get connections from the Indane company are having to run around. There is some relief with Bharat Petroleum and HP. Agency operators troubled by new rules of oil companies Officials said that oil companies implement new rules without notice. Currently, DSC numbers are not being generated in Indane. Due to this, cylinder vehicles are unable to leave the depot. Accounts are being demanded in the name of the March closing. Chandrakanta Gas Agency in Bhopal was asked for the accounts of 1100 cylinders from last year. Due to this, the load could not arrive, and crowds of customers gathered. Investigation into missing cylinders in Bhopal There was a commotion over cylinders at Priyanka Gas Agency located in Lalghati, Bhopal, on Friday. A large number of people reached the agency to get cylinders. Many customers were those who had made bookings 4-5 days ago. Agency said that cylinder has already been delivered Customers allege that when they reached out to get the cylinder, the agency told them that their cylinder had already been delivered, whereas in reality, the cylinder had not reached home. This increased people’s anger. Food Controller Chandrabhan Singh Jadaun said that a team has been sent to the spot to investigate the matter.
