A violent clash broke out between two groups in Shujalpur. The entire incident occurred on Saturday (March 28) in front of the industrial area located on Akodia-Shujalpur road over ancestral land dispute. BJP councilor Sayeed Patel’s family lives in the Teela area of the city, while his uncle’s family lives near the forest department office at Akodia Naka. Both sides attacked each other with sticks and rods. A video of the incident has also emerged, showing people openly wielding sticks. A bike rider was seen loading a pistol. Dispute occurred during a community feast program There has been a dispute between both parties over 15 ‘biswa’ land (between 18,000 to 18,750 square feet) for the past 15 years. In the entire matter, both parties came face to face during a community feast program on the Tehsil office road. During this time, the dispute escalated and turned into a violent clash. He has been admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in Shujalpur in critical condition. In addition, four other people were also injured. All the injured are undergoing treatment, out of which one has been referred. Filed complaints against each other In the case, both parties have filed complaints against each other at Shujalpur Mandi police station. Based on one party’s complaint, a case has been registered against Lallu Khan, Sameer Khan, Haseen Khan, Waseem Khan, Aasu Khan and Rasool Khan. Meanwhile, on the complaint of 85-year-old Rasool from the other party, a case has been registered against Hafeez, Shadab, Sahil and BJP councilor Sayeed Patel. Police are investigating the matter by taking statements from both parties.
