In Jabalpur’s Madanmahal area, a dispute linked to a love affair turned violent late Friday night, resulting in the death of a minor. Shockingly, the minor had no connection to the dispute. Two young men were injured while trying to intervene and are currently undergoing treatment at the Medical College. 22-year-old Krish Kumar, a resident of Lal Mitti area in Ghamapur, had been in a relationship with a 20-year-old girl for about two years. The couple broke up a few days ago. During this period, the girl became friends with Yashraj, a resident of Bedi Nagar, through social media, and their conversations started increasing. When Krish learned about this, he tried to contact the girl again, but she refused to talk. Gradually, the matter grew tense. Girl told Krish – I have no relationship with you now On Friday, the girl went to Gauri Ghat for Jawaare immersion. Krish also reached there and tried to speak to her. The girl clearly told him that their relationship was over. She then called Yashraj and informed him that Krish was harassing her. Yashraj threatened Krish – Don’t harass again Around 8 PM, Yashraj called Krish and warned him not to trouble her again. On the call, he told Krish Kumar, “She was your girlfriend before, now you have no relationship with her. She is my girlfriend now. If you bother her again, it won’t be good.” Krish replied, “Who are you to say who is whose girlfriend? During the dispute, 17-year-old Rishabh came to intervene. People from Yashraj’s side attacked him with a knife, striking his chest twice. After falling, stones were also thrown at him. Rishabh was taken to a hospital in serious condition, where doctors declared him dead. Two youths, including Ansharaj, were injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment at the Medical College. Police have arrested Yashraj and Ansharaj in connection with the case, while Krish Kumar and other accused remain absconding. Their search is ongoing.
