A case of rape of a Dalit student of class 8th for six months has come to light in Bhind. This was revealed when she became pregnant. The family members filed a case at the Raun police station on Thursday. According to police investigating officer Ravindra Singh Tomar, the student was friends with two sisters living in the neighbourhood. Both sisters often invited her to their house. During this time, they introduced her to their brother Sahil. The family members allege that one day, both sisters called the student to their house. They left her in the room and went outside, that’s when the accused Sahil forcibly had physical relations with her and threatened to defame her if she told anyone. After this, the accused kept calling the student. He raped her multiple times over six months. The student became pregnant. When the victim’s mother learned about this, she questioned her, after which the entire matter came to light. Accused absconding, Hindu organisations express anger Upon receiving information about the incident, people from Bajrang Dal and other Hindu organisations reached the police station in support of the student and filed a complaint. Bajrang Dal leaders Nitish Bhardwaj, Surendra Shukla Bhole, and Shriram Upadhyay said, Incidents of targeting Dalit girls are coming to light in the district. The organization stands with the victim to ensure justice. Strict action should be taken against the accused in the case.
