Regional MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda has now become vocal due to his own government’s decision regarding the widening of the Piplianaka area. On Thursday morning, residents gheraoed his office and created a ruckus. After this, he has now stated that he will lead the people protesting against widening the road beyond 24 meters. Regarding the road widening from Piplianaka and Garhkalika to Bhairugarh, the Municipal Corporation distributed notices to those affected on Tuesday. In the notice, building owners were given 7 days to vacate the affected portions. After the notice was issued, parts of many houses are left with 10 feet, while some are left with up to 20 feet. Many families are also likely to face difficulties in making a living. Fearing the action of removing encroachment, a large number of affected women, men, and children reached the office of MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda on Agar Road. After waiting for about half an hour, when MLA Jain arrived, the angry crowd surrounded him. After this, a large number of people protested, sat in front of the MLA’s car, and demonstrated in front of him. MLA said – I will lead the movement The MLA said that understanding the pain and suffering of the people who came to protest today, I gave a promise to the residents of the area. The road will be 24 meters only, otherwise your MLA will stand shoulder to shoulder with you. We will launch a public movement and I will lead it. I have told the Collector to talk to the CM. We have told the state president that I am unable to respect public sentiment and many kinds of difficulties are arising. If small issues are blown out of proportion within the city, it is not right. Some conversations are such that they are briefed to the CM by the officer. MLA appeared upset with his own party After this protest, BJP MLA from Ujjain North, Anil Jain Kaluheda, appeared upset with the decision taken by his own party and the administration. He said that if the demands are not met, he will stand with the protesting people. MLA Jain said that today, for the first time after becoming an MLA, it felt like the people of Piplinak area are in trouble. Their entire houses are being demolished. When I spoke to the Collector today, he said to revise it. Make it a 24-meter road. The MLA has opened a front even before this This is not new when Kaluheda has opened a front against his own party. Even before this, he has been vocal against the government. The MLA had also written a letter to the government against the Land Pooling Act. He had warned the CM in a letter that if the act was not withdrawn, he would join the farmers’ protest. MLA Kaluheda had written in the letter that he had also supported the land pooling scheme keeping in view Simhastha. On November 17, in Bhopal, in a meeting held in your presence with BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal and Kisan Sangh, it was decided that the Land Pooling Act would be withdrawn. Following this, Kisan Sangh held a celebratory rally in Ujjain, in which I also participated. Later, it was learned from the administration, press, and Kisan Sangh that land pooling remains unchanged. For this reason, Kisan Sangh has decided to agitate against the Act. Therefore, I will participate in the movement for the benefit and honor of the farmers. What is the road widening issue? The team from Zone-1 office of the corporation has issued notices to house and shop owners from Piplianaka, through Garhkalika Temple, to Okhleshwar Cremation Ground and Bhairavgarh Jail Square. Initially, there was a proposal to widen the road to 150 feet, which was later reduced to 100 feet. Local residents are demanding that the road width be kept at 80 feet. They say that this can save many houses from demolition. Meanwhile, the administration is preparing to start work on the site soon.
