An inhumane and humiliating case involving a Dalit youth has surfaced in Morena district over a money dispute. The youth was forced into a murga position, slapped, and made to perform obscene acts. The incident occurred in the Ambah police station area, where the victim lived on rent in the same street as the accused. After a video of the incident went viral, police began an investigation. Fearing further harassment, the victim’s family has fled their home and moved to an unknown location. Habitual offender assaults Dalit youth The accused has been identified as Pui alias Dharmendra Tomar, a resident of Retpura, behind the old Ambah police station area, and a habitual offender at Ambah police station. Over non-repayment of a loan, the accused and his associates called the Dalit youth to his house, where they assaulted him and misbehaved with him. Two videos reveal brutal harassment Family living elsewhere under fear The victim youth had a prior acquaintance with the accused and was living on rent in his street. Later, troubled by harassment, he moved with his family to another street. Since the video surfaced, the victim’s family is reported to be missing. SP gave directions for action SP Morena Samir Saurabh said that this act is shameful. Ambah police has been directed to investigate the case and video, call the victim’s side and take action.
