A case has been registered against Kamlesh Bhadana, wife of former BJP MLA Atar Singh Bhadana, at Weir police station in Bharatpur district. The case was filed on Saturday in connection with a dispute over a lease in Bhonda village. According to the complaint, a villager was grazing cattle on pasture land when he was allegedly attacked and shots were fired at him. However, the former MLA has denied the allegations. He said some villagers were putting pressure for illegal extortion. He claimed that on the day of the incident, villagers fired shots and attacked workers at a crusher site. Chandram, a resident of Bhonda village, has filed an FIR at Weir police station. Chandram stated that on January 31, around 2:30 PM, he was grazing his sheep and goats on the pasture land. In the matter, former BJP MLA Atar Singh Bhadana said that he has a lease in Bhonda village since 1997, where silica stone is extracted. The path to the lease passes through pasture land. They allege that some villagers are forcibly pressuring them for a share in the lease and for illegal extortion.
