A 70-year-old woman from Uzbekistan, suffering from breathing difficulties for a year and a half, was sent to Indore due to the lack of advanced surgical facilities in her country. Her complex 5-hour surgery involved removing the tumor along with the lung, then separating the tumor and 40% of the damaged lung, and reconnecting the remaining 60% healthy lung to the windpipe.
