Heavy snowfall in the hilly states has intensified cold conditions across Madhya Pradesh. The state has been facing severe cold for the past 15 days, with temperatures in 12 cities, including Bhopal and Indore, dropping below 10°C over the last 24 hours. Rajgarh recorded the lowest temperature at 7.5°C, while dense fog enveloped Bhedaghat in Jabalpur. Weather conditions are expected to remain similar on Friday. Early onset of cold wave The cold wave in the state began on November 6. The Malwa-Nimad region is experiencing the coldest weather. Bhopal has been under a cold wave for the past 10 days, and similar conditions are expected over the next two days. According to the Meteorological Department, a cold wave alert has been issued for Indore, Bhopal, Rajgarh, Shajapur, and Sehore. Meanwhile, cold wave alerts remain in effect for the next two days, after which a slight relief from the cold may occur.
