Bangladesh women’s team captain Nigar Sultana has dismissed the allegations made by fast bowler Jahanara Alam. Sultana said that she wouldn’t hit anyone and that these allegations are baseless. She said, “Am I Harmanpreet, who goes around hitting stumps with a bat? Why would I do that?” Jahanara had claimed that Sultana assaulted the junior players of the team. She had told the Bangladeshi newspaper Kaler Kantho that this is not a new thing. However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has completely denied these allegations. The board said that they have full faith in Captain Nigar Sultana, the team, and the management. ‘I never did that’: Nigar Sultana denies assault allegations In an interview given to Daily Cricket, captain Nigar Sultana clearly stated that she never hit any player. She said, “Why would I do that? In my personal time, if I put the bat somewhere or hit the helmet, that is my personal matter.
