Pakistan batsman Babar Azam has been fined 10% of his match fee by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and given one demerit point. Babar received this penalty for violating the Level 1 ICC Code of Conduct. Babar had hit the stumps with his bat after being dismissed in the third ODI against Sri Lanka on November 16. Babar had scored 34 runs in that match. He was bowled by Sri Lankan spinner Jeffrey Vandersay.
