cm-warns-secretaries-over-negligence-in-duties:assures-sarpanchs-at-bhopal-conference-that-govt-will-act-swiftly-to-resolve-any-village-level-issues

A state-level Sarpanch conference was held at Jamboree Maidan in Bhopal, where the Chief Minister warned that secretaries who do not do their jobs will be removed.Office bearers from several Sarpanch organisations attended the meeting, the CM said, asking about the performance of secretaries and assistant secretaries. He told the Sarpanches that if they feel a government decision causes a problem, it is the government’s duty to fix it. When a decision is made and problems come up in carrying it out, the government must resolve those problems. The CM also praised Prime Minister Modi’s work over the past 10–11 years and said he and the Home Minister have the nation’s trust. Speaking about supporters of the slogan “Lal Salaam” (Red Salute), he said those who push it will be kept in check and that the country has confidence in the government to do so. Silence observed for Delhi blast victims
During the event, the Chief Minister paid tribute by observing a 2-minute silence for those who died in the Delhi blast. The Chief Minister said that we must not forget yesterday’s incident. Our country’s progress and advancing steps are emerging in a unique way in the world. In such a situation, who knows how many ways enemies try. The Home Minister will provide complete information on this matter. The power you possess is not even with those in high positions
The Chief Minister said that our government is fully with you for the issues that have been raised. When you sit in front of the Sarpanch, the Secretary and Employment Assistant should also come, without them, things don’t work out. In the three-tier governance system, we see the Prime Minister and Chief Minister. The power you have, even those in big positions don’t have that power. What a Sarpanch can do, no one else can. Every house in a panchayat is counted by the panchayat and the sarpanch. In our large state, a large population lives in villages; the work of changing the picture and destiny of the state cannot happen without you. Tri-level Panchayat Conference to be held on November 24
The CM said – Last time, a program for officials of the tri-level panchayat was held on July 23-24 and 25. This time, a conference is going to be held in Bhopal on November 24-25 and 26. I also want to add a few points to it. For example, as urbanization is increasing, there is often a conflict between the panchayat and the adjoining urban local bodies. When there is an urban local body, they have councilors, CMOs, and many other things. In a panchayat, there are only secretaries and assistant secretaries. A solution should be found so that our panchayat also remains vibrant and the development work does not stop. There is a need to create a mechanism for this. Panchayats should establish new villages, the government is supportive
The CM said – Vidisha is an example where a new village was settled with self-planning in residential arrangements. What is the problem? Those tasks can also be done. Mukti Dhams will be built in every village by 2026
The CM said – 2472 Atal Panchayat Buildings, 1037 Community Halls, 106 Janpad Panchayat, and 5 Zila Panchayat Buildings have been approved. Shanti Dhams are necessary for us. Elections are coming in 2027, so it has been decided that every village must have a Shanti Dham. The entire administration will be with you to remove encroachments. This is a very sacred task. Our villages have everything, but if there are no Shanti Dhams, then we must find a solution to this difficulty. Will declare 2026 as the Year of Agro-Industry
The CM said that they are working with long-term planning, combining cottage and small-scale industries through panchayats. They are going to declare 2026 as the year of agro-based industry. They will establish agro-based industries and provide employment to people. The government will set up industries through you; if too many tomatoes are produced, they will make tomato powder so that there is no need to throw them away. They will set up industries in the field of various types of crops. We opened medical colleges and also opened agriculture colleges at a fast pace. The government will work to make every such place a pilgrimage site that is yet to be identified as having religious significance, like those related to Lord Ram, Krishna, or other religious figures. Sarpanch was given the right to works up to 25 lakhs
In the conference, Panchayat Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that when these people met me for the first time, I had said that the government would never lack in dialogue. Then they gave me a paper saying that we have to go to the Janpad and district for small things. I don’t think they would have believed that something was going to happen. They had written in the paper that the Sarpanch should have permission for 25 lakhs. They must have thought something would happen. I made that decision and gave the Sarpanch the authority up to 25 lakhs. I have been on a committee of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, so I have visited all states of the country. Panchayats must have a record room
Prahlad Patel said- I always believe that no institution can have a better record room than a Panchayat and a Sarpanch. Because you know each and every person, you know who has been living there and since when. But, we don’t look back to see what the history of our ancestors is? Panchayat means that there should be a complete history there. If there is a player, you know. If someone wants to go on Narmada Parikrama, they cannot go without your permission.
