MP Samajwadi Party chief demands probe against Deputy CM:Manoj Yadav wants Rajendra Shukla’s removal; questions how toxic cough syrup landed in market

More than two dozen children have died in Chhindwara, Pandhurna, and Betul due to poisonous cough syrup. In this matter, the Samajwadi Party has demanded that a culpable homicide case be registered against MP Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla and that he be removed from his ministerial post. Deep condolences to the families whose children have died due to cough syrup in the Chhindwara area. A case of involuntary manslaughter should be registered against the Health Minister. Those children died due to the negligence of the BJP government and Health Minister, therefore a case should be filed against them. Compensation of 50 lakhs should be given
The SP State President said this is our party’s demand. Each family should receive compensation of 50-50 lakh rupees. One member of the families whose children have died should get a job. Because the children who departed untimely would have grown up, studied and gone into jobs and brought glory to their families. Government should pay for treatment
The SP State President said- It is our demand that a government doctor should be appointed where children are being treated, who will pay the treatment bills there. Children should be traced
SP State President said – From medical stores, all the sales of such cough syrups that have occurred, the children who have consumed these cough syrups should be traced and monitored.

Medicines are tested on animals before use
Samajwadi Party has demanded that all responsible officers in this case, who take samples for testing, explain how they permitted to sale of this medicine? Action should be taken against them. If medicines for crops and animals come to market, they are tested first; then how did these medicines come without testing? But this government took bribes and committed corruption. They should answer all these questions and if the Chief Minister says that I am with the affected families, then first Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla should be dismissed from the ministerial post.
