Class 12 student dies by suicide, accuses uncle of molestation:Last note urges punishment and warns against defaming others

A 12th-grade student committed suicide by hanging herself in Damoh. A suicide note was found near her, in which she accused her maternal uncle of molestation and defaming her. The 17-year-old student wrote in the suicide note: May he receive such a punishment that no person thinks 100 times before defaming any daughter. I remained silent, that was my biggest mistake. The incident took place in Bijori Patha village. On Friday afternoon, a student hanged herself at home. Her father, who was away in Kakrai Ward, Hata, for painting work, received a call from his son around 1:30 PM informing him of the incident. When the family reached home, the girl was still breathing but died on the way to the hospital. In her suicide note, she accused Guppu alias Gopal Lodhi. After the post-mortem, the family members have reached the village with the body. According to Hata TI Dharmendra Upadhyay, the police will record the statements of the family members in this case after the last rites. Suicide note handed over to police

That person is Guppu and also my maternal uncle. Don’t leave him, Dad, make him get punished. This is your daughter’s last wish, so that no one thinks 100 times before defaming any daughter. It’s not that he only defamed me; he tried to harass me many times too, but I remained silent. I had many dreams, Papa, but they remained just dreams. Papa, take care of yourself. Never let my mom feel my absence and love my brother very much. Grandpa-Grandma, take care of yourselves, and Uncle-Aunt, support my Papa. He and only he is responsible for my death. Will you support my Papa or not, tell me, Uncle-Aunt. You all know who is responsible for my death.
