Jumped wall, threw phone in drain: How TMC MLA tried to evade ED

Trinamool Congress MLA Jiban Krishna Saha was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the teachers’ recruitment scam. Saha allegedly attempted to escape during the raid, throwing his mobile phones into a drain. The arrest follows previous action by the CBI in April 2023 and is based on an FIR related to irregularities in hiring schoolteachers.
