Opposition motion in RS to oust Justice Varma was submitted, not admitted

The Lok Sabha is set to consider an all-party motion to remove Justice Yashwant Varma of Allahabad HC due to a cash-in-house controversy. A similar motion in the Rajya Sabha, initially accepted by former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, was later deemed non-compliant, leading to his resignation amidst government unhappiness. Kiren Rijiju affirmed the unanimous decision for Varma’s removal.
