Police have revealed the case of the murder of a 17-year-old girl in the Nagra police station area of Morena district three months later. Took her to Dausa instead of Bhilwara The accused worked in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. He left with his girlfriend by train, but instead of going to Bhilwara, he got off at Dausa station. From there, he took her to a secluded area. According to the police, the accused had physical relations there. After that, when the girlfriend, trusting him, lay down with her head in his lap, he strangled her to death with her own dupatta. Hid the body in a tank 100 meters away After the murder, the accused carried the body on his shoulder for about 100 meters to a nearby septic tank. There, he threw the body and covered it with soil, bricks, and stones. In his haste, the victim’s bag and slippers were left behind. After this, he returned to the village the next day. Family suspected the lover On March 29, the accused returned to the village, while on March 30, after two days of not finding their daughter, the family reached Nagra police station. They filed a missing person report and expressed suspicion on Brajesh. When the police reached his house, he was found there, so initial investigation reduced suspicion on him, but the very next day, after he disappeared from his house, the police started searching for him. Arrested in the market after his marriage After about three months, Brajesh returned to his village for his wedding. His wedding took place on June 26, and the next day when he went to the market, the police arrested him. During interrogation, he confessed to the murder and provided information about hiding the body in Dausa. Body Found Based on Accused’s Information Morena police took the accused to Dausa, Rajasthan. In the presence of Rajasthan police and the forensic team, soil and stones were removed from the septic tank based on the accused’s information. From there, the decomposed body of the minor was recovered. His clothes and slippers were also found at the scene. The police conducted a post-mortem examination with a panel of doctors. Father Deceased, Mother Mentally Ill The Bhaskar team reached the minor girl’s house. There it was learned that the girl’s father had passed away 12 years ago. Her mother is mentally ill. Her uncle and grandfather were responsible for her upbringing. She was the eldest of three siblings in the house.
