Passenger services on the Bhopal Metro will remain temporarily suspended on June 24 and 25 due to a detailed inspection by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) of the signalling system. Metro services paused for the mandatory safety inspection process During the inspection, technical tests and safety checks will be carried out to ensure the metro system meets all required safety standards. Metro services on the Orange Line between Subhash Nagar Station and AIIMS Station will not be available to passengers on June 24 and 25. Orange Line services remain unavailable for two days Services will resume as per the regular schedule from June 26, after the inspection and testing work is completed. Inspection aims to improve safety and operational efficiency The inspection is an important step to further strengthen the safety, reliability and operational efficiency of the metro system. The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) said its aim is to provide passengers with a safe, modern and world-class public transport system. Regular testing and upgrades of technical and safety standards are being carried out to achieve this goal.
